Today the last set, “stream1″, was sticked to the building of Maakhaven, a place at the Calandkade in The Hague, with several ateliers for artists in all genres.
With a great audio sight!

Yesterday “stream3″ Rotterdam was placed, listening to the sounds of the Dordtselaan, a busy street in the south of Rotterdam.

In Amsterdam the microphones of “stream5″ are glued at the building of STEIM, the studio for electro-instrumental music. STEIM is in the center of Amsterdam, with a canal in front and surrounded by appartements and a primary school close by.
Photos from left to right: mics at the STEIM building, the PC that delivers the stream to the server in Enschede, the view from behind the mics.

Streaming set “Stream4″ in Eindhoven has it’s microphones and light senor placed on the roof of a friends house. A location in a residential area of this city, whit lots of voices, dogs and a mosque.

Today we recovered the streaming set “stream2″ in Enschede.
This set was still on the roof since Februari 2009, and looked pretty much eaten. Replaced the mics, that luckily worked again a day later, with the ones I just got from set in The Hague. The picture in the middle shows the view at the industrial area from the roof of the data centre Atricom, where the mics are placed. On the right the recovered set.

Video made with my photo camera, showing the last train leaving from Rotterdam Hofplein to The Hague. This ‘Hofpleinlijn’ ran for 102 years, the last years by RandstadRail. Now the train goes straight to Rotterdam Central Station.
The video was shot from my window, August the 17th 2010, 0:33 hrs.
